Does Ontogeny Recapitulate Phylogeny?

Did you know you had gill slits once? How about a tail? I’m not talking about your ancestors either, I’m talking about you. When you were in your mamma’s womb you had gills at one point - they emerged, then receded - also a tail.
And maybe you read my post before about the scientists being able to express genes in chickens causing them to grow teeth. We seem to be a certrain expression of the whole of nature - we express ourselves humanly, Bando who gets milk expresses himself dogedly. Anyway, maybe you should know more about the phrase, “Ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny”.
