Kitten Update
Posted by Chris Young on 04.21.06

The Kittens are 3 weeks old now. Their eyes are open, however their pupils and irises are still forming so they can only see lights and shadow. They run around a bit. Mama is getting more rough. She likes to bite their necks and flip them around. So, here I am, one of those people putting pictures of my cat on the Interent. It’s liberating in a way. Join me in celebrating three weeks of kittenness.
Yes, the picture is of the same cat. A lot can happen in three weeks.

your little comments are quite entertaining. Your insight into the immigration problem and your kitten metaphor is quite illuminating. Gay.

Even with all the kitten photos out there on every imaginable blog, there’s always room for more. I watch our cats meditate for hours on end on the windowsill, under the woodstove, and between piles of laundry. If there are any lotuses in the mud of my world, they are the prime candidates.

Do you remember that damn song where the little girl sings about her kitty…the best one in the city? I swore I would never not listen to it if I could help it. But here we are, and I haven’t listened to it in a year! Please post the link if you find it. Kitties.
p.s. Tor: Don’t be fooled! Your cats are not meditating, they are plotting against you! Don’t you see a pattern?
Windowsill = Planning Escape Route.
Woodstove = Seemingly Benign Cause of Your Fiery Death!
Laundry = Inconvenient Lintification of Work Clothes!
They are biding their time….oh yes

For Snackrabbit: Fluffy, she’s my kitty.
We’re going to post some new pictures of the kittens soon. I would advice that you all listen to this song while watching the slideshow.

Now THIS is what makes the internet such a happy, magical place. Although repeat listenings will make you want to actually PUNCH a kitten, and that’s neither happy, nor magical.
Listen Responsibly.
