How Big are our Earth, Sun, and other Celestial Bodies?
Posted by Chris Young on 06.27.06
The earth is big compared to a single person, but it is small compared to Jupiter. Jupiter is small compared to the Sun and the Sun is small compared to other stars. It’s hard to wrap our heads around these scales, but this series really helps.

When observing this………..I don’t think anybody’s problems are THAT BIG…..If somebody was big enough to observe the biggest sun listed, that would mean that the earth would be invisible. Would that mean that if this big person was traveling through space, would he just pass right through the earth? SO does the earth really exist…….to the big person?

Our earth is like an invisible speck of dust to the largest of stars. Could we be tramping around on entire world systems without even knowing it?

Or does the water get him instead?
